"SPIN AROUND" - and she does a spin around herself real fast
I visited the humane society to look at two terrier mixes. Both had been adopted by the time I got there - but there was dolly, so I visited her. She was nothing like what I had imagined I wanted, but the minute I met her, she won me over.
Dolly was a transfer from Indiana. She had what was described as "paw sensitivity" where she'd nip at whomever touched her paws. The Wisconsin Humane Society took a lot of time to desensitize her of this habit (thank goodness they didn't loose hope on her!) and she was adopted after a few months of loving training and foster homes. However, her new owner was so allergic to her, he had to bring her back. Lucky for me - she was there the morning I visited, waiting for her new, permanent home! Dolly had a rough first year, passing from shelter to shelter and from home to home, but we just celebrated our one year anniversary together (3/21/06) and she knows where her "forever home" is.
You got a dog - you got dog hair.
