Arrival Story:
Just over a year after my father passed away, his best friend wanted my sister to get a puppy. He had a co-worker that had puppys to give away. My sister wanted me to talk her out it. Wrong person there.... Dave walked in with a Black Lab/Husky mix. The puppy was all black, one blue eye, one brown. I fell in love. My sister decided to name it Clem or Clemmie for that was my Dad's nickname as a boy. When Dave saw how excited I was, he told me she had more puppies. Before I knew it, we were off to get me a puppy. Normally I don't do things like this. I do research, I think about if my other dogs will mind, and I suppose I also ask my husband if he minds. But this time, I forgot all that. I walked into Debbi's house. She held up the 2 females she had left. One had more Husky markings, the other looked exactly like Clem. I took in my arms and Andie Blue became her name. Andie after my Dad, and blue after her one blue eye.

Bio:
Dave is the chief of police in the small town I grew up in. Debbi is one of the secretaries working for him. The other female she had (the one with the husky marks) was adopted by one of the officers on the police force. He is the human part of the K9 unit. The other half of the K9 team is a Shepard named Justice. He adopted a sister for Justice to play with and named her Freedom.
