My Tail of Devotion for Sally

Dear Sally,

BEFORE YOUR TIME:
I cried,mom weeped,
sis neglected her job to sweep.
For you see,he was gone.
My old dog,Knitro,had finally left his bone.

We had went through tough times,me and my dog.
Snakes,sickness,divorce and all.
So,as you see,we were all sad.
Even my dad.

GETTING YOU:
It had been about 4 months since the passing.
That's when my now aunt started asking.
Mom took one look,and named you Sally.
With your fluffy white tail,just a waggin'.

I wasn't too sure,about getting a new dog,
though I was excited,all in all.
I was still kinda sad,for the obvious reason.
But hey,why be?It was the giving season.

NOW:
Sally,I love you.You say anyone could.
But what I respond with:Everyone should.
You bark at a knock,just to protect.
You sniff all around,so you can detect.

Though you make mistakes,like in the floor,
it only makes me love you even more.
No one,not even another dog,
could make our grip loosen,or make us fall.

Yay!Summer Break!!

Finally!Summer break is here,and my humans can stay home with me!No more boring,just excitement!!!Today,we stayed at home and played.The neighbors grandkids came over to play with Kendall and Kassi(mylitte human sisters).But mom,Kayla(my older human sister)and I stayed inside on the couch,and not only watched Days of Our Lives for the first time since Christmas,but actually watched Passions,too!!!I hope we can stay home,tommorow,too,cause I don't think I can stand another day in the sun at the park like yesterday.We went to the playground up the road and stayed for almost and hour!Of course,I had food and water,but I 'bout sweated to death!It was hot!Well,it would have helped if I hadn't ran around constantly,but I really can't help that,I was excited!My girls haven't stayed home all day on a weekday since January 3rd(when they went back to school since Christmas).YAY!!!

BORING!!!

Today was a usual day.Boring,boring,and more boring!For the better half of the day I stayed in my kennel(or until mom got home),then mom took me out.That was the most exciting part!Then I spent from5:00 till6:30 out of my kennel,before I had to go back in it(it wasn't ALL my fault,I really had to go!)Dad took me out around 8:00,and I stayed out watching t.v. with him until he put me in my kennel for the night at about 11:00.My day was boring,can't you tell?!?
