Arrival Story:
I was at a Girl Scout beach campout with my youngest daughter Sara. When Xena walked by(12 weeks old) with her parents it was love at first sight. I begged the owners to sell her to me. They declined as they planned to use her to continue their line of chocolate poodles. I brought the whole family over to meet the owners and insisted they take my phone number in case they changed their minds. Two weeks later they called and brought her to Santa Cruz from Modesto having decided her life would be better as a family dog. It took my husband about a week to decide he could love a poodle....the rest is history!

Bio:
Xena never allows another dog to bully her, she is alpha in a friendly sort of way. Xena is the founder and administrator of "Dogs with great noses" and "Amazing dog ears"!
