Why did I have to take a bath?

I think something is up, Mom isn't saying much yet, but I had to take a bath in the new sink in the basement, I heard her talking about how nice it is, I didn't get water all over the bathroom. I am so afraid this will mean more and more baths. I like being a smelly dog. Wonder if we are going to grandma's tomorrow, or is Anna coming home, I guess taking a bath isn't so bad, if I get to go on a car ride afterwards. I will keep you informed.

A dog has to have his standards

What is Mom thinking? She will ask if I want to go on a car ride and then she wants to take the old jeep. I refuse to ride in a car below my standards, if I am going on a car ride, the car needs to be comfortable, with a place to rest my head, clean windows to look out and air conditioning. What is a pup to do? Then when I refuse to go, Mom gets mad, she even tried to bribe me with puppy treats.

Easter Day

I got to go to Uncle Bob and Aunt Lisa's for Easter. They made me sit in the car. I guess at Christmas when I peed on the table leg got me banned from the house. It wasn't my fault that the table smelled like cat. Oh well, I enjoyed the car ride, I got to drive on the gravel roads. I did get to run around the yard and hide the Easter eggs, do you think they thought I was the Easter Bunny?????
It is sad on the way home, Anna left to go back to college, Mom says she will be home for the summer in a month. I always wait to take a bath when she is home, but I don't think she likes giving me baths, Wonder why, I am sexy when I am in the tub.

Did You Say Dog Park

On Wednesday, Mom and Anna met for dinner and I had to wait in the car, but then they had a surprise for me. We went to the dog park. I have heard about this wonderful place but had never got to go. But guess what, the park ranger yelled at Mom because she was driving too fast. I wish they would let me drive, I never go too fast, just take my eyes off the road to bark at cows.
Anyway, the dog park was fabulous!!!! There were lots of new friends to make. I got to run and play, first with a boxer named Tyson, and then with two caryn terrier, they looked like little me's that needed a bath. What fun, I hope I get to go again, even though it is a long way from home.

Why did everybody have to go back to school

It was so quiet in the house today. Anna went back to college, Mom had to go back to school, now that her break was over. I took a long nap, but when she got home, she took me for a long walk. I got to sniff and run, it was so much fun. Now it time to nap on the back of the couch.

What a busy week!

Anna was home on spring break from college. I really miss her when she is away at school. I can have fun picking who I am going to snuggle with, usually I will get puppy treats by picking favorites. I got to go on several car rides, I love to bark at cows and watch them run, actually they usually just look at me, why aren't they scared?
I am glad I joined dogster, what a great opportunity to make new friends.
