Surgery

Woofers evfurryone. I had surgery on 5/6 to remove another darned old malignant tumor. Sorry I didn't tell anyone, it's been bad around here with Mom and I both being sick. It was harder for me to get back to feeling better this time, Mom worried for days. I'm back up to speed now, I'm playing with Lily and chasing the ball around the house! I "only" have 17 staples this time. I still have to be careful though cuz sometimes Lily jumps on me and that hurts then Mom yells at her and it just causes us all to feel sad.

Mom would post a picture but she's having trouble getting anything to download into the computer. Guess it's time to call for help.

Thank you to our Pals!!

Woofers to my Pals and their families. My Mom, myself and our family want to tell everyone thank you for your kindness, gifts and prayers. The support we have received is overwhelming. Maybe if silly Mom could stop bawling she might have the energy to write each of you a thank you note . . . unfortunately, even without the crying, she doesn't have much energy so, here's a BIG THANK YOU to all our friends. Not Happy

Mom and I got some bad news from Dogtor Bart today. Mom's having trouble with her fingers being numb from her cancer treatment so she isn't able to feel too good along my back and body for lumps anymore so we went to Dogtor Bart so he could. Unfortunately, he found at least one tumor and he said there is probably more underneath. It is cancer, again. My surgery is scheduled for May 6th. Mom's been crying so hard, it hasn't even been a year since they removed the last 3 tumors. The time between them is getting shorter and shorter. Between Mom and I, we're a real mess. I think I handle it better than Mom, she thinks too much, ya know what I mean?

Please include Mom and me in your pawprayers.

A sign from God/Dog

Mom went to the City of Hope early this morning to get her blood checked. They need to make sure her white count is staying good. No chemo for 2 more weeks.

She said to tell everyone "HI" and she misses "talking" to you. She said she'll just let me write a few words for her!! BOL!

Anyway, mom was on the freeway about 6:30 this morning when the rain let up a bit. Mom came around a bend and said she almost wrecked her car by what she saw. Up on a hill, right next to the freeway, was a really tall cross and right behind it was the biggest, most beautiful rainbow she's ever seen. She told me that she said "Thank you for the wonderful gift God, and by your sign, you have told me that everything is going to be ok."

Good News

Good new, bad news.

Good news, the "c" didn't get into mom's brain!! She's probably going to start the chemo on 1/30 like they said. This will be to fix the stuff in other places.

Mom said it's the Power of the Paw and the Power of the Hum-Prayer". Thank you all for your prayers, please don't stop....

Good news, bad news.

Mom got part of the results of the PET scan today. The "C", they THINK, hasn't attacked her brain, still waiting for the MRI from this morning but, it is in her lymph nodes in her neck and stomach and it's in her right lung. She's waiting for the oncologist to call her so they can get the chemo set up. Please pray hard. Taco, Lily, Bella, Mia, brothers and sisters on the Bridge and Mom.

Mom's illness

Mom doesn't always have time to let everyone know what's going on and she apologizes. As of today, 1/11/09, we are waiting to get an appointment for a full body scan so that we know where the ugly "c" started from. That way, the doctors will know where to aim their treatment stuff. Mom said she really won't have a prognosis or much else to tell anyone until after next Wednesday.

Please just keep her in your prayers. God/Dog Bless everyone and thank you all for your kindness to our Mom.

Whew.....

Well, mom is ok, if you consider high blood pressure and off the chart stress ok. Mom's never had either of these before so combined with the irregular heartbeat, we was all skeert. Dogter Van put mom on some pills and she's doing much better. We're all doing good and thank you for your wooferful notes of encouragement! We wuf you all very much. Taco, Lily Poo Poo, Bella, Mia and Mom.

P.S. Lily has been pooping in the livingroom again. Now mom calls her Lily Poo Poo... BOL!

Mom hasn't felt very good for a while now. She's sorry that she hasn't gotten back to those of you that have written her. She will know more next Monday. Pray for my mom. Taco
