Arrival Story:
After Toodles came to live with us, I was in love and wanted another grey sooo much! After months of begging and female cohersion (sp-1) my husband finally relented and said YES!!!! I again contacted Project Racing Home, told Kimberly, the kennel operator, that we were coming down to get Toodles a friend.
Bio:
Chief is a special needs poochie. He is EXTREMELY shy and spookie. When we brought him home the day we went to get another hound, Chief had never been in a house before. We had to teach him about stairs, windows, glass doors, vinyl floors, where to and not to potty, etc. When he is with just us his family, he shows his true funny, silly, self. Around strangers or people he is not sure of, he does his best to avoid any contact. BUT, he is getting better about this. I will load up both dogs and off we go to a public area to meet new people, or we will go to my place of work and hang out for awhile to let new people talk to Chief, and pet him. He has come such a long way!
