Arrival Story:
Cooky picked me. There was an ad in the paper for "free puppies to good homes." My dad took my brother and I over to the house to see them. There were four long haired and two short haired. We decided we wanted a short haired. One was female and one was male. We weren't sure which one we wanted. I was sitting on the floor and Cooky walked right up and climbed into my lap. We told the lady we'd think about it and come back later. We went back almost immediately to pick up my Cooky.

Cooky is my second dog and the love of my life. I've had her for 10 and a half years and wouldn't trade her for anything.

Exciting things!

Lots of exciting things have happened since I've written last!
Over the summer I turned 12 years old. I can't believe I'm that old! My fur has turned grey in spots. Oh well. I can still play like a puppy.
Becky and Darrell bought me a WHOLE house to run around in! I have my own room. Well... really I have to share it with Archie the treefrog but he just sits in his aquarium and doesn't bother me much. There's a long hallway I like to run up and down at top speed and there are all sorts of places for me to hide my toys.
My backyard is fenced in and I love going out whenever I want without the leash. It's much better than the tiny apartment we were living in.
The one thing I don't like is that Becky and Darrell got a new bed and it's too high for me to jump onto. They had to make me a step thing. I don't really like it though. I'm scared I'm going to fall so I only get on the bed when it's light outside.
I've gotten a few new toys this year too. A moose and a dinosaur. I like to kill them to death. Speaking of killing to death, I popped my big purple ball! It's awful! But Darrell said he'll get me a new one in the spring.
My Mommy got me a new charm for Christmas. It says, "guardian angel" in it and has a little picture of an angel. I like it a lot. Darrell and Becky gave me a new bag of treats for Chirstmas.
I'm looking forward to the next year. Things just keep getting better and better for me!

I didn't really get to see much of Becky on Mother's Day. She had to work. But I sent her mom, my "mommy" a card. She called to tell Becky that she loved the car from her grand-dog.
Darrell took me over to Granny Diane's (his mommy) on Mother's Day. I got to run all over her fenced in backyard. It was AWESOME! I rolled in something REALLY stinky and got something sticky on top of my head. Becky was pretty mad. She washed the top of my head before she let me go to bed. It was fun though...

I hope I get to go over there again soon.

Wow! It's been a long time since my last entry. My new doctor IS really nice. I had to get my bump removed and that was awful. Becky says that it was "benign." I'm not really sure what that means but I'm pretty sure that's a good thing because she picked me up and was dancing around with me when she found that out. All I know is I have another scar on top of the one from when I was "fixed." I still don't know what was wrong with me that they had to fix that time. Anyway, I'm all better and the stitches came out fine and I even had my teeth cleaned. I sure was pampered for a week.
A little while after that I got to go on a really, really long car ride with Becky. Darrell, my male owner, drove us to this city and then my boy (Becky's brother) was there to drive us some more. We ended up at Mommy's house. It was very, very good to see Mommy. She likes to give me treats a lot! It was really good to see the boy and my sister Shadow too. We got to play and nap together like when we were growing up. Mommy bought us matching dog scout scarves while I was there. Mine is red with bones on it and Shad's is blue with bones on it. The boy and Darrell think they're silly but I kind of like it. Shadow likes her's too.
It's been nice out for a couple days here. Becky and Darrell took me outside the other day and let me run around with a big purple ball. It was great! I love being outside and I LOVE playing with my toys! Speaking of which, Becky's friend Amber gave me a new toy that I LOVE MORE THAN ANYTHING! It's a cloth can thing with a squeaky in it. I like to pounce it and shake it and growl at it. Amber is a good friend. But when she came she brought her new pup and I didn't like him very much. He's much bigger than me. I was kinda scared and hid behind Darrell's legs a lot. I guess I'm just not used to any dogs besides Shadow. And she's my sister so it's OK that she's so much bigger.
Well, I think that's all the news I have right now. Oh! I also got a new necklace to match my new tags! It has ladybugs on it. It's cute. :) I'm tired of sitting in Becky's lap now so I'm going to go lay in my bed.
I hope everyone is doing well!
