Well the time has come for the puppies to go. Tonight is their last night with us. I have their pictures up as a desktop background. I will probably take them down after this weekend. Not because I am mad but because it will be very hard to see them on a daily basis.

I am so glad that they all have great families. I don't think I coul be happier with the families who are gettig them. However, I will miss them. They are a part of the family and my heart. Better keep the kleenex out huh.
Good night little puppies, for tomorrow begins a brand new adventure of the beginning of your new life.

Well today little Cruiser now known as Sugar, went to her new wonderful home. She cried as we escorted her to her new home but then as the door openeed she came bouncing out. "Where am I?" she looked around and thought. But then 3 little boys popped up and she was playing with them, running, jumping, chasing, etc. It was like watching a bunny. She was having a ball. She went running outside and jumped in the grasss. "Oh what is this?" she asked herself. She has never seen grass before.

It was amazing. I was so proud and so glad to see her new family so happy. To see them excited and playing with her. To see her happy and playing and acting as if nothing were wrong. We walked away knowing that she would be happy and confident in the loving family who has her. I must admit and cannot lie that I am sad. I ahven't cried yet as I think I am still in denial. However, it wil come. it will come here ina few minutes when I bring the others out for a run around the house and she isn't there. How hard to let go of something you have cared for since birth. I can only imagine what it feels like to give birth.

I love my puppies. I will miss them and they always have a place in my heart. here is to safe wishes and loving kisses from me to them.

what a scare

Well mommy had a scare this week. She took me to the vet on Monday to get looked at and they said that I had a pyometra which is an infection of the uterus. This meant..... no more babies. The vet said that it was not the severe case so she gave us antibiotics and referred us to someone who had more experience. Well they scared us because they said it wasn't treatable. Long story short, after much crying and sadness, it turned out I didn't have that. So everything is ok and I will be fine. Thank goodness right :-)
