Nicknames: Pockster, Pock, Wolfgang Pock, Pock-a-doodle, Porky, Pock-emon, Poor Professor Pockins :)
Birthday: June 18th 2005
Likes: I like playing chase with mommy and daddy! And I also like any time I get to spend with my adorable boyfriend, Atticus Finch! Oh, and I just adore meeting people who think I'm as cute as can be!
Pet-Peeves: I just can't stand it when one of my toys rolls under the couch and I can't get at it! I bat at it for ages, but it won't come back out! Also, don't expect me to pay attention to what you say if you've got food in your hands...all I want is that food!!
Favorite Toy: I love stuffed toys - because I can gut them and decorate the rug with white fluff! I love my kongs and my Babble Ball from Attie.
Favorite Food: I'm on Solid Gold dog food, but I'd much prefer a steady diet of cheese and carrots. I've never met a piece of food I didn't like. But I must toss it around and "kill" it before eating it!
Favorite Walk: Anywhere!! Especially the park near the beach though -- I love to rub my belly on the grass.
Best Tricks: I can sit, dance, lie down, shake, roll over, crawl, sit pretty, and "drop it". I can also "come here" and stay. Plus, I can "speak" if mom and dad make a barking noise at me :)
Arrival Story: I was quite sick when Mommy and Daddy first got me, but I got great care at the vetlady, and now I'm very well and active! Mommy and Daddy were dying for some company since they had just moved to this new city. They named me after a delicious Asian snack. I am definitely Mommy and Daddy's baby - they dote on me (and I know it)!!
Bio: I want to be with people all day long! If I have to be put in the crate, I like to watch TV. And when mommy or daddy walk out the door, I still cry a little...well, until I notice a treat! I enjoy sleeping on the top of the couch and on windowsills, so Mom and Dad call me half-cat! I'm a ball of energy, though :) Mommy and Daddy just adore me - I love my little family!
Woof, woof, everypup!
Hey, guess what? I'm no longer living around a foot of snow! After spending the holidays in the South, we moved back to our old apartment in Illinois. I am sooooo happy to be back! I know where everything is, and I can get back to my perch on the windowsill. I do miss the big yards that the families had in the South, but I guess I'm a city dog at heart. Plus, it's been pretty warm for Chicago!
I have a confession to make....I miss the poodle. I didn't think I would, but now that she's gone...I guess I miss her. It was nice to have a playmate, and even though I have Mommy all to myself, I still miss that big, prissy poodle. Sigh.
Well, I guess I should help Mom with some of the unpacking (read: steal things from her and then nap). I'll bark more later!
Hey there, loyal readers!
Well, I promised an update on Operation: Poodle. Here it is...my mom is a total sucker. All that poodle has to do is hear us having fun downstairs, and she starts crying. Mom can't stand for her to be in the crate since she doesn't mind looking after her...so the poodle gets to party down here with us. Instead of long walks...just Mommy and me...it's now a threesome. Sigh. Well, I guess I do enjoy playing chase with her. And, she'll let me paw at her sometimes... But if that poodle thinks she's worming her way into my bed - she's got another thing coming. She may have won some of Mommy's affections during the day, but I command this house at night!! Mwahahahaha!
