Being cold, kids (he didn't understand bipeds that were smaller than him -- he called them "Treats on Feats") skateboards (or anything with skateboard-like wheels -- he called them "Meals on Wheels").

Peanut butter, cheese, apples

Favorite Walk:
Along the beach, and to places unknown when he took himsef for walks... oops!

Arrival Story:
The ex husband "volunteered" to take him to be put to sleep when the inevitable custody fight occured, because he was so old. Needless to say, I won custody. I lost him to bloat nearly 2 years later, but he lived a long time for a Dane (nearly 12 years).

Bio:
Bloat is common for large breed dogs. Warning signs: foamy non-stop vomiting, distended abdomen. Surgery is an option, but Gary was too old to put him through major abdominal surgery.
