Good Monday morning ...
My mommie has entered me ... Baxter Raley, in our local newspapers annual 'Pet Star Calendar Contest'. I'd would really apprecaite it, if you could go to their website and 'vote' for me, ... Baxter Raley # 36. The address is ... www.marshallnewsmessenger.com ~~ you can vote 'once an hour', and the contest runs until next week.
My sister, Bailee is entered in the Longview News Journal contest ... www.news-journal.com, she is #24, Bailee Alexandria. I know that she would appreciate the votes too! The same rules apply at this newspaper too ... you can 'vote once an hour' and the contest will end next week.
I do appreciate 'all the votes' you can give for me (and my sister!)

Hey there,
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Our Halloween party was great! The weather was perfect ... the food was good ... what more could we ask for! There were only a few of our friends that actually came dressed ... dressed in costume, that is! Nothing scary, just a couple of scarecrows, a pumpkin and a princess! The princess being Bailee, my little sister! She always tries to be cuter than me. That's OK ... I was the hit of the party ... Cap't Baxter Sparrow! Everyone thought that I had the coolest costume of all. I think what it really was ... I actually kept my hat on! Now, we are waiting on the ghosts-n-goblins, to show up this Wednesday evening, we've got a lot of candy and treats to pass out.

Ahoy! It's almost time to get out the ole' costumes and get ready for our Halloween Party. Once again, I'll be my favorite character ... 'Cap't Baxter Sparrow', arrgghhhh! (I love that costume!) Even though Halloween falls during the week, we'll be having our 'spook-tacular' party this weekend! Bailee and I, both are looking forward to it ... that means that we'll be able to get some 'extra' food from the smoker (when daddy cooks, he'll always slip us a bite or two! YUM!) The only thing that I 'do not' like about the party being at our house ... there's no place to hide, so we can go to sleep! There'll be people everywhere. But, that'll be OK, guess we can sleep more the next day! Gotta go for now.
