Arrival Story:
Saw it on craigslist. Begged my Husband. He said ok, then the day came to go get her (31/2 hr drive over the snowy pass) and DH said NO! I've changed my mind, don't want a mastiff. He later called me @ work & said he was going fishing w/ my dad and wanted me to do the dishes when I got home from work. GRRRR. I WAS MAD!:(. Many hours later he called on his way home and said all he got was an old dog fish, clean the kitchen so you can gut it. GRRR I was Madder!. When he got home he said "Hey, why isn't the kitchen clean?" I said "I 'm pouting because I didn't get my pup!". He went out to get his fish. When he came in he said "I don' t suppose you would want to clean this old gray dog fish for me would you?" When I turned around mad, there was the CUTEST little pathetic pup in the world!!!!! I wasn't mad anymore;)...I melted & cried.

Bio:
The very day after Khloe came home to us she went right to work! To this day Khloe frequents the mid-end stage dementia unit her mother works in. She is not technically a therapy dog, but by gosh she can sure make these elders smile! Khloe can only go a couple hours a week now because she's not aware of her size and is still all puppy! She has a tendancy to get excited with great force (haha). She LOVES to go to work and see her friends. Khloe gets to lay on the couch or sometimes even their beds with them. They especially got a kick out of her halloween costumes. Each time we go she know to "sit" while mom gets the electronic wheel chair scale set. When mom gives the signal, UP she hops and sits until her weight is displayed, then for the treat. Khloe has gained quite a reputation there and its fair to say she is a very "popular" girl with her 8x10 photo proudly displayed on the t.v. of the common room.
