Arrival Story:
My friend was working at a local pet store when Ginger and he brother were brought in. She called me because she was scared this little chi would die because she wasnt eating. When I got there I was shocked at how small she was, so I took her out to weigh her. She weighed in at 14.72 ounces (that is 0.92 pounds). I fell in love with her and at the same time was so scared because I had never seen such a tiny puppy. I also thought this was fate because she was the color I always wanted in a chihuahua and was a female to top it off. She was also AKC registered, but that didnt matter to me. My friend gave me her discount and I took her home. I really had to be careful with her because she was so small and did not have all her teeth in. I had to buy puppy milk and soft puppy food and feed her every three hours. Thank goodness she wasnt pickey and before I knew it she was eating the soft food on her own. She eventually got use to hard food and has been doing great ever since.

Bio:
Ginger was born November 18th, 2003 in Iowa. She is a purebred short-haird, female chihuahua and is fawn with a black mask, black ears, and a black tail. She is AKC registered. I decided on the name "Ginger" because I liked the movie actress Ginger Rogers and wanted to name her after an old movie actress. She acts like such a little girl and is the sweetest dog in the world. She doesnt have a mean bone in her and loves to be held. When I am not holding her she is picking a fight with Kylie, my other dog. She will probably be the last dog I get for a while, but it seems like my dogs were meant to be in my life so who knows.
