Arrival Story:
When the breeder brought ou the first prospective dog, the puppy hit the floor running. As Barkley's future mom and brother looked on nervously, the little devil began pulling at shoe laces and electrical plugs. Seeing their dismay, the breeder brought out a second, more docile puppy. However, he was a bully. When Barkley's future brother held the brute in his arms, he refused to make eye contact.
Finally, sensing she was about to lose her customer, the breeder took out one last puppy, a special little puppy she was planning on saving for herself. This puppy was perfect. He let his future owner hold him in his arms, and looked right up into his face. From that moment on, we knew Barkley would be a member of our family.
