Almost Died...............

Good thing my Human was paying attention!!!While I was outside having my Evening toilet I decided to snap and catch some Yellow with Black stripe flying things.They were Wasps!!!I am a good catcher and I caught three of them and swallowed one,Oh,No!Wasps are toxic to little 8lb MinPins.Ann came out to put me on my leash for our walk,all was fine for ten minutes and then I collapsed,lost control of my bowels and blood came from my mouth!The neares emergency Vet was in Westland,Michigan 16 miles away!I was unconcious on the front seat and my human kept shaking me to keep me awake.It cost my Human $900.00 by the time the Vet and her figured out what I did.I was in anaphlactyc shock for three hours and was almost gone.I stayed at the Vet overnight.My Human keeps an"Epi-Pen" in my kit close by from now on.

I have a new home..............

My Human came home from Louisiana to pick me up October 21st.His sister has been puppy sitting me since June.Her and I are now very best Pals and she would be very sad if I left her.So my Human said goodby to me and went home to Louisiana without me.His sister treats me like the Queen that I am,she has me on a diet and I am down to 8 gorgeous pounds of MinPin.My new Human is seen on my Dogster Page holding me saying Goodby to Benny.I now am a permanant resident of Belleville,Michigan and live with my good Pal,Ann.

My Human has a new Camera!!!!

Minnie T. Dawg has a new photo in her photo page.I bought her a Nikon Digital camera to show off her fine Doggy figure.Minnie is now at 8 lbs and completely free of the heartworm threat. Many thanks go to my Sister Ann who is Doggy sitting "Minnie" while I work here in Slidell,Louisiana and try to find a permanent home.The new photo was shot Labor Day weekend and is so much better than the 35mm shots which will all be replaced.

My Heartworm treatment began yesterday............

I am at Dukes Veterinary Clinic in Belleville,Mich for a battery of shots to make me well.I got the first yesterday and I get one today,then I can go home to my Blanket tomorrow!Vet says,"keep her quiet for a month".I'll hide in the laundry basket if they try putting me in that Dog Carrier!In a month I go back for last shot and check up.I was very sick and had an advanced case,I was a "Lucky Dog"

I have Heartworm!!!!!!!!

My visit to the Vet has saved my life,Unknown to my Human,I have had Heartworm for over a year and have an advanced case.My Human Benny is very concerned that I have to be poisoned with strychnine and hospitalized for two days without my Blanket.
I will not be able to poach food from that Cat or sleep upside down on my Couch with Benny's sister.
I go into the Hospital on the 5th of July and will be there untill Friday the 8th.
My Human is terrified the strychnine will kill me.....................

My Daddy left today...........

3 June 06 Tonight at Midnight my Daddy got in his car and drove away.I am staying with his Sister who drives a School Bus.She is really nice and she even lets me under her covers at Night.Daddy drove to Louisiana.He will be moving there permanently because he can't find a job in Michigan.I can't wait till'he comes to pick me up Thanksgiving weekend.I sure miss the treats he gave me and the trips to Jay Jays house.

A sad day for my Humans

Yesterday my Man Human got me up early for my walk , then drove me to my Lady humans home to see Jay Jay and my Cat family.I was so happy to see them, sniff each other and then a quick bite from Jay's food dish.My Humans left us in Brenda's new apartment then drove to a place called the "Coleman A.Young" building in Detroit.They were gone all morning,we all had to go to the bathroom.Finally they both came back,Me and Jay Jay went outside and read our "P-Mail" and left new deposits.My humans had a new thing called a "Divorce".We couldn't see it or sniff it,what is that?,why are my humans so sad?I have to go back with Benny,I don't think I'll get to see Jay Jay or my Cats anymore.I don't like this new thing Benny and Brenda brought back from Detroit! I can't see it,but I know it's not good,Jay Jay was all over Benny and wagged his tail so much and didn't want him to go away again.He hugged both his Cats and said Good-by to them.He left the Cat's with a big bag of "Little Friskies" then him and his Lady hugged a long time.

Benny will tell my story

I was a rescue dog.My owners lived in a local Mobile home community and had given me to their two year old as a present.She was a nice child but carried me by my neck,chased me with the vacuum cleaner and fed me Cat food.So I lived in the closet as far back as I could get inside with the laundry.One day Benny's lady walked by my home and my owners Mom pushed me into Her arms!She said,"Here!take the damned thing!You said you wanted her!So take her!" Benny's lady took me,a quivering,hungry,nervous wreck.I lived under their bed for a week,no one could touch me or I would BITE THEM!One day Benny's Cat wanted to play with me,the Games were on!!!When Fancy and Dedcat went outside,I investigated my new food bowl and found where the water bowl was.I couldn't get enough at first.When I finished,I jumped on Benny's lap and licked him too! Boy,was He surprised to see me!I learned to snuggle with Benny or whoever was handy,they were all nice to me,to my surprise and even spoiled me and invited me to Dinner every night!I learned to rob Benny's other dog and the Cats!That ended as soon as the Tomcat found out what I was doing,Wow! that animal has claws a mile long,and they are really sharp!Benny's lady and her son moved away last Fall.They took JayJay,Fancy and Dedcat with them!Me and my Human Daddy are by ourselves now.Today we started telling my story,when we get where we are going we will write some more.................
