Arrival Story:
Tucker was abandoned outside of a Wal-Mart in the mountains in Tennessee. A college student from the University of the South found him and took him to hide in the dorm. He named him Tucker and he hid him in a dorm room for a little over a month while planning to take him home at Christmas. Unfortunately, that boy drove his car into a lake. Now, don't worry. He wasn't hurt - but he was GROUNDED for life and couldn't take Tucker home with him. Faced with taking little Tucker to the pound, that boy talked a girl from Florida into taking the puppy for Christmas break. Auntie Betsy drove from TN to Florida with Tucker on her lap. There, she convinced me - her big sister - to keep Tucker for a semester, until he was big enough to return to the fraternity house. Lets just say I don't think Tucker will EVER be a fraternity dog

Tucker lives in Deltona, FL now, but hails from the Universtity of the South! We had to amputate Tucker's tail in November of 2005 due to a non-healing wound. Dr. Miller did a beautiful job on the surgery and Tucker is completely back to normal, running flyball and learning agility.

I'm A SuperDog

Wow! I've had a busy couple of months. I ran in my first ever agility trial... I did FANTASTIC. Mom screwed up. I stayed with her the whole time except in jumpers.... there, I took about 5 extra jumps. We still finished under time but I guess we're not allowed to take those extra jumps - but I LOVE to jump.

I also recorded a new personal best in flyball.... I ran a 4.8 three times at our last tournament and I wasn't even the start dog! Mom says my box turn still needs work but I'm doing awesome - especially when you consider I used to run 6 seconds!

But my most recent accomplishment is being a SuperDog for a weekend. The SuperDogs (from Canada) were in town to put on a show and my agility club got asked to provide some extra dogs for the show. Mom looked long and hard at all of us - Dino - too goofy, Beep - too nervous with strangers, Comet - too young; Haley - a little too old these days.... So I got to go!!!!!!!!

Oh My GOSH - It was so much fun. It was kind of like flyball with no box turns, kind of like agility except I didn't have to check in with mom cause the jumps were pretty much all in a row.... I got zoom around like crazy. I loved it.

On a sad note, my frisbee died. Two days of tugging on it made it fall apart. I hope mom will get me a new one soon.

Okay - So I see why Mom and Dad were always harassing me about my box turn. We were at a tournament the other weekend. I got my FDCh-G title (So did Dino and Molly and Haley got her ONYX) but I had a personal best time of 5.002

I"ve never run that fast before! Mom and Dad said it was cause I'm not stopping on the box any more.

I didn't even get that tired! I finished the day at 5.2 - I used to be a 6 second dog. Mom's really proud of me.

This sounds like a good game -I was tagged by a pup from the UK, named Loki - http://www.dogster.com/dogs/310633

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged need to post in their diary the rules and their seven pawsome facts. They then chose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don't forget to bark a pmail that they have been tagged and need to read your diary or send a rosette announcing they have been tagged. Copy and paste rules in your diary then put in your info.

1) My Aunt Betsy and a male friend of hers found me in a dumptster at a Wal-Mart near Suanee, TN

2) I was orrignally going to live in a fraternity house but Betsy took me home to my Mom & Dad at Christmas and I never went back!

3) I'm allergic to rice, corn, soy, and oats. Wheat and barley are okay.

4) I used to have a tail but I had to have it amputated in 2005.

5) I LIVE to play flyball.

6) I go to the doggie chiropractor every month to keep me in top form.

7) I finish my dinner in under 30 seconds!

The 7 I've tagged are........
