Life is WONDERFUL

What a weekend

What a week and a weekend we had last week. My sister Lucy and I get to play outside each day when daddy comes home for lunch. Then when mommy and daddy get home from work in the evenings, they let us go play again. We run and run and run until it is time to come inside and then we crash on the couches and sleep.
Last Thursday my daddy came home from work and put us outside like normal. Mommy was home a little bit later, I don't know how to tell time otherwise I would know how much later, but we seen her car pull up in the driveway so we barked to make sure she knew we knew she was home and happy to see her. Then daddy came outside and made us come in. Then him and mommy went out on the front porch and said we could nto come outside. I wondered what I did wrong, I know I didn't eat any clothes that day, or chew through another one of daddy's hats...so it must have been something Lucy did. But that was not the case. I guess, from hearing mommy talk on the phone later that night to Aunt Marsha there was something called a tornado here. I don't really know what that is, but I guess mommy and daddy wanted us to be safe so they made us come inside. Our house and yard didn't get any damage but I guess some places around our little town got some things all messed up. We were unable to play outside the following day too cause it rained. But this past weekend, we were running fools in the backyard.
Then Saturday afternoon mommy said it was time to come in. I looked around and it was still light outside so I didn't quite understand but I came inside anyway. Then I knew why she wanted us in...SHE GAVE US A BATH!!!!!!!! UGhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. After our bath and ear cleanings (I hate those) she told me that I smelled so good and kept giving me lots of kisses. I even got to lay beside her in the bed the next morning and sleep with her and daddy for about an hour. Of course big silly Lucy was in the bed too, but she sleeps by their feet...I sleep by their heads so they play with me when I am in their bed.
Now the week has started again and daddy came home a noon and let us play again. We have been running around the yard like idiots this evening as well...It is so nice outside today. Mommy says it is suppose to be like this all week, so I know I will be one tired puppy.

What a weekend

So Friday my mommy stayed home with Lucy and I. She played with us in the backyard and we ran and chased the balls and sticks. It was soooooooooo much fun. I was so sleepy when we came inside the house I went right to my little bed in the kitchen and fell asleep. I guess this was good because my mommy and daddy went shopping when Daddy got home from work.
When they came home we got to cuddle in their big bed and play some more before it was our bedtime.
On Saturday I got to play outside again!! I love our backyard. Mommy got us some fresh water and I played in the water from the hose. It was a little cold, but it was alot of fun.
Mommy and Daddy decided that they were going to go to grandma's house. (She lives 3 houses from us) then daddy came back home and after that ...everyone came to our house. They were working in the basement of the house, I don't go down there because it is scarey for me. I heard them say that the water pipe that comes into the house broke and everything in the basement was wet. That is probably why they were tossing it outside.
When Saturday was over we all layed on the couch and watched TV and we all fell asleep.
Last night it rained, so mommy didn't want us to go outside to much today. But this afternoon we got to. It was really windy, so it dried out everything and we got to play around the backyard again. That was soooooooooo much fun. I am so sleepy right now, that I am getting ready to go cuddle with mommy in her bed.
Hope all the other doggies out there had a great weekend as well.

Why does my big sister always take my toys away? *Yes I call them my toys even though I took them from her to begin with*

And what are birds?? Why do they fly away when I am just about to run up on them??? I am a friendly doggie.

We love our new neighbors....we hope they come over and play more often...the little kids chase us around the backyard and let us chase them and they even play in our little doggie house. It was fun, but I am soooooooo sleepy now. So I think I will go nap and get ready to wake mommy up at 3:30 am again. It is a new game I am playing...she does not seem to think it is to much fun, but it is a blast for me.
