Arrival Story:
I found Eeyore at a local rescue here in Ohio. His foster mom brought him over and did a home inspection and left him for a trial visit. 30 minutes after she left, Eeyore managed to escape into the cold, March night. I looked for 2 days with no sleep and all the friends I could gather to help find him. I posted photos and put an ad in the paper. For 11 days I got constant calls about Eeyore sighting, but by the time I got there, he was gone. Eeyore was in a puppy mill and thought all humans were bad. he was very scared. Finally, on April 8th, after many days of snow/rain/etc. a neighbor close by saw her 2 dogs chasing something "odd" looking. They chased it into her gagrage and she shut the door. After looking in on him she remembered a flyer hanging near her home and went to get the number. She called me and went to retrieve my Eeyore! Since then, Eeyore has bonded with me like crazy and I don't even have a need for a leash anymore. He still has a bit of trouble with men, but he has certainly turned into a very loyal dog to his Mommy!
