Arrival Story:
Baxter belonged to my husbands boss. He died as a result of a housefire and we have been keeping Baxter until his "mama" got a new place and was settled. Unfortunately, she called a few weeks ago and said she couldn't take him back and basically made it our responsiblity to keep him and/or find him a home. We are unable to keep Baxter. We live in the city limits and their is a leash law, meaning that we have to keep him chained in our yard, since we don't have it fenced in. Also, we have 3 other dogs, and I really just don't want another one at this time.
Bio:
Baxter is 2-3 years old. He is not a full blooded breed. He has been neutered and his shots and heartworm preventative are up to date. He is good temepered, and I have seen him around children only once, and he enjoyed their company. I have a cat, and Baxter does not bother her, nor does he mind my little Yorkshire Terriers. He does enjoy being outside and running, so I'd love to find him a home with a fenced in yard, or on a large farm.
