Arrival Story:
At the time that we bought Poncho we had another dog, who was a large breed. We were in the grocery store and I seen an ad for chinese crested/chihuahua pups. Well I had never heard of the breed before so I did my research on chinese cresteds. I phoned her and we went to go look at the pups. I remember Poncho was one of the first ones to come to see me but now that I know more about the people who bred their dogs he was probably trying to get away from them. We fell in love with Poncho and the rest is history.
Bio:
Poncho was supposed to be my companion, it turned out that he is my husbands dog. Every day he has to sit and let Poncho lick him becfore he will be quiet. And not just lick his face but Poncho is gross and like to lick up nostrils. He loves to play with Hanley who is his other best friend along with Sassy. Hanley has since moved away and Poncho misses her.

As if its not bad enough i barely have any hair to begin with but mom cut the hair on my ead right down, because the stupid cat went and put fly tape in it. I know she did it on purpose. Mom says I look cuter though, she says I look like a puppy again. I dont feel like a puppy, I feel like a dufus!

this week was an interesting week. loads of things to do now that it is nice outside. we went to the beach and the water was freezing but i cant get enough of fetch with sticks in the water. All of a sudden a HUGE wolfhound, and his friend came out of nowhere and scared the bejeezes outta me. I tried to show them I was boss but Dad picked me up and held me. The wolfhound was sooo much bigger than me...Mom said he was like a horse.
Then on Friday she gave sassy and me some really special food and we both got little fat tummies from eating so much at once.
I play outside all the time now, running to the river and back. I found a cat to chase this week too, she lives next door and she doesnt really like me. I chased her up a tree and man I wish I could get to that tree.
Dad went away so Im stuck in a house full of girls!!!! More attention for me I guess. I can never get enough. Maybe they will take me for a walk tomorrow. WOOF theres to hoping. Well Sassy is lyin down watching a movie I think I will go and join her, looks comfy and warm up on the couch. Write more next week.
