Arrival Story:
I told a friend at the SPCA that if any Boston Terriers came, to let me know. About 1 year later, she tried calling me but got a busy signal on my phone so she emailed my boss, he got on the computer and told me Karen was trying to reach me, that there was a Boston that needed to be rescued if I was interested. I said YES!!!!!! I brought my other Dog *Bugsy* with me to see if he agreed that Jake would be a good friend, they got along so well, we didn't hesitate to take Jake home. Jake, unfortunately, had been kept in a cage most of the time, the people had no time for him. after 2 1/2 yrs they gave him up. Needless to say, he was ill mannered, and suffered from submissive wetting. I am so happy to say, he still jumps on people that come to visit, I must keep working with him about this, but the submissive wetting has stopped, the attacking me after rolling on his back, has stopped and he is my baby boy now. We lost his other play mates last Fall, but we (my husband and myself) are part of his pack. Sadly to say Jake has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge, Dec. 20, 2012, we miss you and will always love you
