Arrival Story:
Patches was a birthday present for my husband. I was at the pound for a different dog and didn't get it. I saw Patches and she was too cute to leave behind. She was 8 weeks old when she came home with me.
Bio:
Patches is soon to be a big sister. My husband and I are expecting our 1st child very soon. She also loves to torment her housemate, my mom's dog, and steal all her toys.
Update: Our son was born on April 18 and Patches has been a wonderful big sister. She checks on him if he's crying to see whats wrong and licks him. She comes to get me if he's crying and she doesn't think I hear him and she checks him in his carseat every time I come home to make sure he's ok. She's a little jealous but overall she will make a wonderful friend for the baby.
Jan 05 - Patches is now an overseas dog. My husband and I are stationed in Germany. Patches is adjusting wonderfully and I think she understands more German than me! Although she misses her boyfriend, Knucklehead, she is doing great. She is also a great big sis to her brother( our son) Morgan. She plays with him all day long and lets him chase her around the house.
