Arrival Story:
I was 3 when we got Caesar. Our next door neighbors dog was having puppies & they told us we got first pick. His mom was a small white poodle. His brothers & sisters were all black (we think from the Scottie next door) & he was the only white puppy (who got pretty big) so we chose him since he was the oddball. He & I basically grew up together.

Bio:
Caesar lived to be 16 years old, pretty good for a medium sized dog. He had a K-9 cart (wheelchair) as he had a stroke & lost the use of his back legs... I loved to take him for walks & see everyone stare! : ) We donated Caesar's K-9 cart to our vet & 3 other doggies have had the wonderful experience of using it, too... everyone returns it back to our vet when they are done so she can let another dog use it, too. He was the best dog ever, my family calls him a "rarey" as he didn't have any bad behaviors. He was just the best doggie ever! We still miss him. I have a few funny memories of him... in California we had a mail slot in our front door so the mail dropped to the floor, if he was mad at my parents he would chew up the mail-but only junk mail & magazines, he never chewed a bill---or he would pull the trash out of the bathroom trashcan! He also stood on his hind legs 2 different occasions to steal food from the kitchen countertop when no one was looking! My brother & I had a game we played with him in Hawaii, we put a pair of my dad's running shorts on him & nicknamed him "underwear dog" & the rule was you couldn't let him touch you so we would jump around on all our furniture (mom & dad were not home) to "keep away" from the dog & Caesar would chase around trying to get to us! : ) He was such a great dog!
