Best Tricks:
When he comes home after his walk and reaches our front door, he excitedly leaps into the air at least 3 feet until his nose brushes against the door knob and he doesn't stop leaping until the door is opened.

Arrival Story:
I saw his little sad face on Petfinder.com and couldn't get that face out of my mind. I printed out his picture, put it on my office wall and stared at him all day long until I knew he was my dog. We met one week later. He was longer than I had pictured and he had a nasty wound on his face, the result of a hard life roaming the mean streets of L.A. He was shaved down to the skin because he had been matted up and a mess. He was terribly shy and ran from me when we first met. I had to bribe him with cheese but then he melted in my arms. He lay on his back and let me rub his tummy. That was it. I took him home, changed his name, found out he was deaf, then after hiring a trainer for deaf dogs, found out he WASN'T deaf (just traumatized) and we are now, one year later, inseparable. His coat is now thick and beautiful, his hearing is perfect and we are living happily ever after.
