Doggie Dynamics:

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

February 15th 1992

I like sunning myself or lounging on my heated pillow, going for a drag, er, walk down the street and getting under the covers. And like everybody else, I think digging in the dirt is the best thing to do. EVER. Really - you should try it!

I hate being forced to go pee and poop in the snow (you try dragging your unit through snow and sleet!). I hate it when the cat decides to hunt me. Loud children should be disemboweled.

Favorite Toy:
Toys are stupid.

Favorite Food:
Fried chicken skin is good. So are bananas. Let's just say anything that isn't too spicy is good. Unfortunately, my dads won't give me too many table foods. Something about me possibly getting fat. (They're ones to talk!)

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere is good - it's the experience, right? Besides, I would rather take a ride in the car.

Best Tricks:
I would never lower myself to doing a trick. However, I can get my humans to do pretty much whatever I want them to do. They'll do lots of tricks for me...

Arrival Story:
I came from one of those high-class dog kennels down near Savannah; the kind where they breed show dogs and stuff. The lady who ran it believed that the colors should never mix - she was a dachshund segregationist. Alas, my mother was red and my father was black and I was the product of a quick love tryst when the owner had her back turned. My Daddy Thom was able to get me on the cheap 'cause I wasn't a pure red.

I have lived in a lot of places, from an old house in Savannah, a high rise in Atlanta and now my home in Roanoke. My goofy playmate Gertie (she ain't too bright) lives with us too. I had back surgery in 1998, but it's not what you think. It wasn't because I got fat like a lot of dachshunds I know. I fell off the bed and hurt my back real bad. My dads took me to the vet college at UGA and they fixed me up. I had a physical therapist and everything. I'm good as new now and I'm in better shape than a lot of little puppies - and I'm an old man!. My dads look after us and I spend most of my days sleeping on the couch under my blanket, eating (but not on the couch), and just being handsome.

The Groups I'm In:
Dachshunds of Virginia, the 13 and over crowd
