Arrival Story:
Ginger came to us when she was just a pup. An older pup. Her and her brother were unwanted. I was going to find both homes when they were vetted. Both had severe heartworm and were unadoptable. Neither could be treated for their condition. Since then, her brother, Benson, has passed on. Ginger continues to do well and will live out her life with us. Her sister, shortly after Benson passed away, came to live with us also. She too has passed on to the Rainbow bridge. Molly was born blind due to the flea infestation as a puppy. She also had severe heartworm. Ginger continues to thrive although she is slowing down some. She is well loved here and well taken care of. We will miss her when it is her time to go.

They were mistreated and abused. This is why Ginger wanted the song TREAT HER LIKE A LADY.. And that is what she is.

I know you are soaring the skies with your brothers and sister Molly, Nikki.

I still miss you very much old girl. I believe Benny boo is on his last journey also. I fear it won't be too much longer when I have to release him back to his creator as well.... I just ask that you be there to receive him, show him around.

I have brought home a few small babies to hand raise and am very tired, it was so much easier with you around, now it all falls on me. I miss my mother nurse around.

Loving you from afar, hoping you will return to me some day.

Your creator came looking for you on December 12, 2008 and took you home.

I knew you greeted your brother Beau, when he followed suit 18 days later.

Be pain free, young and healthy again. I will miss you as the caring, loving sweet girl you were. Kind to the babies I hand raised for many years.

Taking Benny in as your own pup and teaching him to have itchy feet like you did. Loving any poor helpless creature mom brought home. You treated them as if they were yours.

Thank you for taking care of me for the past twelve years. Looking out for me, loving every creature that came before you. You are a special dog. You are missed greatly. There isn't a day that doesn't go by that I don't think of you or miss you dearly. I promised you I would take care of Benny to the very end, and I will my sweet Angel Ginger. I promise you I will.

Come see me sometime. You are always welcome home.

Soar the skies, pain free and young again. Know you taught me well.

I will treasure your spirit always.
