Arrival Story:
Buddy was a Cocker Rescue dog from rescue in Roseville, CA. He was saved from the pound a day before he was to be put to sleep by rescue. Buddy had bad cherry eye and had a cheap surgery that has caused him to have poor sight in one eye and to be on medication for the rest of his life. Buddy also was shaved due to bad matted fur and has chronic bad ears. The cocker rescue people approached us because, as they said, " He needs a real cocker loving family as he has health problems and will be expensive and pretty high maintanence for his ears and eyes." As soon as we saw him we both fell in love. He is the sweetest dog, very bonded to Sadie, our other cocker. He was very kind to our old cocker Teddy, who Buddy knew for a year and a half.
