I miss my mommy...

I was extra-upset at Mom when she left for work this afternoon. I'd gotten used to having her home and playing with me. I cried and cried... When she got home tonight I was so excited that I rolled around all over the floor making my yipping noise. I've finally worn myself out. Good thing we're going to bed soon. I can barely keep my eyes open.

Brush-a, brush-a, brush-a...

Mom brushed my teeth today. I did NOT like it. I didn't growl, but I called her some nasty names in my head. But I've noticed that my breath smells a lot better... Minty fresh.

Busy!

I haven't written anything in here for a long time! Mommy and I have been very busy. We've been going to the dog park a lot. I've made some new friends. I don't growl nearly as much as I used to when another dog sniffs my butt. They're just being friendly.

Mom took me with her while she ran her errands yesterday. We got the car fixed and went to the dog park. Then Mommy got me ice cream! Just a little bit, but it was soooooo good! We also went to Three Dog Bakery where Mommy got me cookies. Yuuuuum! I like that place a lot. There were other dogs and it was nice and cool and there was lots of stuff to sniff.

I'll try to update this thing more often, but right now I'm going to sun myself on the porch. Yay for living in Florida!

Poor Mommy...

Mommy didn't feel good this morning and had to go to the hospital. She's back now and she feels better, but I'm still worried about her so I'm sticking to her like glue.

Mommyerica came over to take care of her later. I got pet lots.

Now we're going to bed. It's been a long day for both of us.

Bzzzz...

Mom stayed home for most of the day today! It was great! We curled up in bed and she rubbed my tummy for a long time this morning. She left for a little while to go see Mommyerica, but then she came back and we went outside to walk. She put cheese in my food again. Yum!

There are some bugs flying around and I'm trying to catch them for Mom. I've managed to catch two in my mouth. They were quite yummy. I'm still trying to catch more. It's fun!

Is it the weekend yet?

Mom left really early this morning. She came back without that "sayr-ah" person. Then she left AGAIN. She was gone for a long time. I managed to get a wrapper off of the kitchen counter while she was away.

When she came back after work, she cuddled with me for a good, long while. I love Mom's cuddles. She loves kissing the top of my head. Then Mommyerica came over! I almost didn't recognize her smell, but after a few minutes I realized that I know her. She hasn't visited me in forever! Besides Mom, she's my best friend. I love her lots. She's really good at petting me. Mom and Mommyerica left for awhile, but Mom just came back and fed me. She put some cheese in my food. Yum! She cuddled me for awhile and sang to me a little. Mom's so silly.

Now it's time to nap on my bed while Mom watches the loud box that lights up. I hope she sits on the floor and pets me some...

Feeling better...

Mom did end up leaving again yesterday. I was upset. But the Stranger, who Mom calls "sayr-rah," came back and played with me till Mom came home. But right after Mom came home, they both left again! I cried because I wanted to come with. I hate being all by myself. Luckily, they weren't gone too long.

This morning, Mom let me off the leash when we went outside! There weren't any other dogs around. I got to ruuuuuun! I was a very good girl and only went where Mom said I could go, then I went right back to the apartment. Mom said I was a "goodgirl"!

The Stranger...

There a Stranger staying in our apartment, and she sleeps on MY COUCH. I don't know how I feel about that. She pets me, though, so I guess it's okay. The Stranger was reading a book this morning, but I knew she'd want to pet me more than read, so I jumped into her lap and knocked her book down.

Mom left this morning and I thought she was going to be gone all day, but then she came back! Yay! I was so excited that I started jumping up and down. The jumping made me tired, though, and I had to go lie down. I can't sleep well unless Mom's here anyway. I get the feeling that she's going to leave again later cause she's making sure to pet me a lot. I'm trying to make her feel guilty with my sad puppy dog eyes. I think it's working.

"Robin & Company" is no substitute for Mom...

It's so booooooring when Mom's gone. She leaves CNN Headline News on for me so I can be well-informed. I'd rather listen to the boring news than Animal Planet. Those big cats scare me.

Too bad Mom shut her bedroom door this morning. She's got some clean laundry on her bed that I'd love to roll around in.

Maybe I'll spend the rest of the morning trying to figure out how to get on top of the kitchen counter. I'll bet Mom keeps some food up there.

If nothing else, I can curl up with my chipmunk or my frog and dognap. I destroyed my squeaky hot dog yesterday. I kind of miss it, but getting the squeaker out was totally worth it.

Another day spent snoozing...

I tried to get up on the kitchen counter again while Mom was at work. I couldn't quite make it up there, but I did manage to knock the mail down off of the counter. One day I'll figure out how to make it work.

I slept most of the day. It's so boring when Mom's not here. I look out the window and nap. That's about it. I can't wait till we go to the dog park again. Maybe this weekend. I heard Mom talking about taking me to the beach. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm not a big fan of the bathtub, so I don't know how I'll feel about the ocean. I'm willing to give it a try, though. Anything for Mom.
