Arrival Story:
In May 2003, I was living in Charleston, SC, while in college, and had been missing my dogs from home. Daisy's mom had just gotten a new job and didn't have time to give her the love and attention she deserved. So she put a sign up at the pet store and I saw it only 10 minutes later! I went and met Daisy and we really liked each other, so I decided to take her home with me. Two days later, my mother called to tell me that our dear dog Booger had died suddenly of a heart attack. I was devistated. Daisy climbed up on the sofa with me while I cried and I realized that she was sent to me for that exact reason, to help me get over the loss of a most beloved dog. For 6 years now, she's been my constant companion in all the ups and downs of life.

Bio:
Daisy lost an eye when she was attacked by a stray at my parent's house, hence the name Pop-Eye. This makes for unending questions from everyone we meet. It seems to make her everyone's favorite wierd dog. It's like she is constantly winking at you!
