Arrival Story:
Chrissy was found as a wondering stray probably dumped by a puppymill or family. A lady found Chrissy in Knoxville, TN and her vet had her call me as I do Corgi Rescue. We immediately had Chrissy transported to OH.

Chrissy was found to be both blind, deaf, had a severe skin problem due to flea infestation and had a cancerous mammary tumor that was removed. Chrissy is doing excellent, getting around the house with no problem, and has her place on the bed at night. I am sure had she wondered longer, she would have been hit by a car or would have died without food and water. Chrissy was helped to the Rainbow Bridge on August 16, 2006 after she had a return of her cancer and she was unable to eat or walk. She was a Bright Star in our lives and is sorely missed as there is a vacant place on my bed at night

Recently, Chrissy is beginning to have a little sight in her right eye. She now is able to walk from room to room, go outside and walk around the yard and still knows how to get back inside. We feel a miracle has given Chrissy a little eyesight. She still doesn't hear at all, only very loud noises. Hopefully, being ten years old, she will continue to improve. She is much happier, does a little dance once in a while and can find a certain person anywhere in the house.
