Arrival Story:
I was really missing my first dachshund, Benny (my ex got full custody and took him back East), and decided I needed to have another one. We started looking for a breeder and found an ad in the Oregonian. I took a quick jaunt over to North Plains and fell in love with her the moment I saw her. At six weeks old, 2lbs., and the only female, she was too cute to resist.
Bio:
We just discovered Potso Park today, April 10, 2004, and she loved it! We are going to take her every weekend from now on. Daphne is extremely smart and loves to be mentally challenged. We enrolled her in puppy class at Petsmart at 8 weeks old; now whenever we go in there, she thinks it's time for class. She has a 15lbs. kitty, Tigger, that she lives with and loves to chase and torment. We are currently thinking about getting Daphne a little sister to play with. She loves adults, kids, other dogs, cats, and probably anything else that would play with her. I think we got the pick of the litter in her. Update: We got Daphne a cute little sister on Sept. 5, 2004. She is a Silver Dapple Doxie named Sassy, and Daphne loves her.
