We had a yellow lab for around 14 years, and he died. My dad was very close to the yellow lab, Shadow, so he got to make the decision of when our family got a new dog. We kept begging and begging for him to get one, and finally, we got Gage. Daddy really wanted another yellow lab, but when he met Gage, it was love at first sight!!!Gage is very loving and playful.

A Day in the Life of Gage

Today, my friend Rusty came over to play. This was our first time to meet. I was very protective of my master. I did not like her petting this strange dog. We tried to fight but our masters would not let us. I bit him and got a spanking. I was mad cuz he was in my territory and bit me first, but I minded my master. After we sniffed each other we began to play. Boy was it fun!! I had the best time. Rusty is a boxer, and he is about two weeks older than me, so he was bigger than me, but I was still able to pin him down when we play fought. I was sad when he went to leave. My play date was fun tho. I can't wait to have another one!!!!
