 Quick Bio:
| -mutt | -pound dog | -disabled | | -dog rescue |
 Birthday: January 1st 1996
Likes: Barking, violent tail-wagging, self bum-chewing, sniffing people forcefully, eating, lounging, grunting, and PLAYING!

Pet-Peeves: Every other dog in existence, places too high to jump to, not being constantly spoiled, and her yardmate Lakota.

Favorite Toy: Rawhide 'chewies', Tug'o'War ropes, and whatever she can steal from Lakota.

Favorite Food: Pretty much anything. Unfortunately, certainly health issues prevent us from spoiling her TOO much. But she LOVES french fries and the end-pieces on bread loaves.

Favorite Walk: I wouldn't know -- she escapes the yard and walks it by herself.

Best Tricks: Being somewhat elderly and quite short & stout, her tricks of late are a tad limited. But if properly motivated, Sara can/could do just about anything.

Arrival Story: I must have only been nine or ten years old and I wanted a dog SO badly! We were going to the house of a couple that often took in dogs from the pound just before 'execution' to try and find them homes on last notice. Ironically, I had been worried that maybe we were missing out on the 'good dogs' at the shelter by taking the detour to meet Sara. But the minute I laid eyes on her I exclaimed, "I want her!" And that was it. No other living creature is more loved by me than Sara -- my best and sometimes only friend in this world.

Bio: Despite leading quite a happy, healthy, and fullfilled life, it seems Sara has some form of canine epilepsy. She had her first seizure some six or so years ago and it scared me to DEATH! But she has continued to have them; no more than one a year but I hold my breath every time. Because he think her 'fits' are triggered by a food allergy, we cut Sara off when it came to 'junk' food a long time ago. Let me tell you -- it's been no picnic for Sara the Spoiled Brat Dog, literally! :-)
