Arrival Story:
We began looking for a third dog after Lucy's surgery... she just can't play with Marble like she used to. I browsed the free section of CL one day and his photo and description caught my eye more than any other. Plus he was free! Well, as you may know, free pets aren't free for long... after a quick trip to PetCo for a crate, and a trip to the vet for a nail trim & ear culture (mild yeast infection, meds will clear it up!), we brought him home... the rest will be history!

He's fit into the famly great! He sniffs the cats, and then remembers that he's gotta run and takes off in the other direction! He licks the kids on his way by, and hasn't tried to run away, yet... he really needs to learn how to come when called, though! He's wearing Lucy's tag for the time being, she's not in any shape to escape right now, so she said he could borrow it. Ollie and Marble fell in love at first sight... Marbie had NO idea there were other dogs out there that could run as fast as her! They've been running for about 200 hours now, and are not tired of it yet! He's a real sweetheart, I think he's finally figured out that he's going to live here, it's not just a doggy-vacation! *May 29th 2006, Memorial Day... Ollie was hit and killed as he tried to go meet and greet the neighbor's dog. The dog didn't want to met and chased him back out into traffic. It was very sudden, painless, and unexpected. We are still grieving the loss of our best-boy-dog-ever. Love you, Ollie*
