Quick Bio:
-purebred-pound dog-dog rescue

Birthday:
September 27th 2000

Likes:
I enjoy hanging out with Dyana and sleeping in the middle of her bed when she is really tired. Mostly I wander around the house in hopes of finding a scrap of food that may have been dropped somewhere. I like food. I like food more than I like breathing.

Pet-Peeves:
I don't like loud noises, ear cleanings, baths, walking on moist grass, getting my paws wet, rain, putting on my raincoat and rain boots, having to do tricks for food, calling my name when I'm trying to sleep or being moved.

Favorite Toy:
I had a favorite squeeky pineapple but I chewed it so much I broke it. Now my favorite toy is my dog dish or any tennis ball.

Favorite Food:
Anything.. except cucumbers, peas, squash, and shellfish.

Favorite Walk:
The Huntington Dog Beach

Best Tricks:
Sit, Stay, Sneeze, Wait, Dance, Speak, Talk to Dad

Arrival Story:
I was rescued from a shelter where I was abandoned by an abusive owner. I was there a week past the date that I was scheduled to be put down when the local small breed rescue adopted me to find me a real home. Dyana's friend had his dog groomed at the shop where the girl that rescued me worked, and knowing that Dyana had owned Cockers in the past and had not had a dog in many years asked her if she was interested. She came down to the shop to look at me and it was love at first sight. I peed on her and I knew it would be forever. :)

Bio:
In the almost 4 years that we've had Condessa, she's progressed so much. She is less frightened of new people and even lets them touch her sometimes. When we first had her she wouldn't come close to us for cuddles or kisses - now she thinks she's a lap dog. She has the funniest underbite which sometimes traps her top lip and makes it look like she's smiling. She will find any little thing on the floor to chew on it and as soon as we notice, she'll stop chewing and pretend like nothing is going on until we look away and she'll start munching away again. She has a way of hiding the medication she was supposed to take and spitting it out somewhere else in the house. She sneezes on command, carries her dog dish around the house begging for food and is probably the silliest dog with the best personality I have ever met. I love her very much and wouldn't trade her for the world. She loves other dogs, but doesn't have any doggie friends... wanna be puppy pals?
