This is a tough one, Macey has a whole big toy basket. I think it is a tie between her tomatoe and her soccer ball. Her favorite stick comes in at a close second.
Favorite Food:
Ummmm, anyone that knows Macey knows that she is obsessed with food. So far the only thing she won't eat is mushrooms.
Favorite Walk:
Macey loves to go to the park and to walk around the neighborhood.
Best Tricks:
Macey has learned lots of tricks at school. She is very good at sitting pretty, speaking, sitting, laying down, and picking the hand that has a treat in it.
Arrival Story:
Jeremy and I moved to Cincinnati in the spring of 2005 and built our first house that summer. As soon as we started building our house I started talking about getting a puppy...we would have a yard now! When we moved in Jeremy said, lets wait until next spring, so the new grass can come up. Well, I tried to wait, but one night when he was at work I decided to look on petfinder.com. That is when I found Macey. It was love at first sight! I showed Jeremy when he got home from work and he said we shouldn't get a dog yet. We actually got into a fight and he refused to go see her. Finally, he said, why don't you go see her but I am not going. I went with his parents that Sunday and we all were in love with little Macey. I went home, told Jeremy about her, and we brought her home the next day! Before we even picked her up Jeremy was at the store buying her food, a collar and toys. After he saw how much I loved her he couldn't resist getting her! We adopted Macey from HART, an organization in Cincinnati that rescues dogs and cats. The rescued animals are placed in foster homes until they find their forever home.
Bio:
According to HART Macey is a German Sheperd/Boxer mix. But a few months ago I was looking at dog calandars and I saw the Rhodesian Ridgeback. I am now determined that she has Rhodesian Ridgeback in her, minus the ridge!
