I was born to a litter of nine. Eight of us were chocolate, and one yellow. There was a baby fawn being fostered with us. My parents played with the whole litter for hours before they selected me. I have to say, I think they made the perfect choice.

Okay, Okay, I know a while back I complained about the rain, but now it's been 100+ degrees out. We can't go to the dog park or on walks unless we go 1st thing in the morning and that's when Mom takes the little human to exercise class. Isn't there a happy meduim?
Well, I have to admit there is an upside. The little plastic pool I thought Mom bought for the little human is actually for all of us to share. I love it when she fills it up. Dusty and I run back and forth across the back yard and while Dusty leaps over the pool I jump right in, put my head under water, then jump out again. Then we do it all over again.
I don't get to go in it when it's the human brother's turn, although sometimes I 'accidently' drop my ball in, opps.

Woofs to ya,
Cleo

My Bark chant worked. Yippee! I'm so happy it's been sunny this last week. We've been sunbathing, you should see my coat, it's never looked better. I've been on a couple of walks this week and let me tell you it's been barktabulous. Dusty even got to go on one walk, which I was completely jealous of. Walks are for me, and me only (well maybe Mom and the little human can come too). I mean Dusty is a complete heathen on the leash. He jumps in the air, twising and turning, he rubs his nose on the ground and almost trips Momma. Sheesh, at least I act like a lady, but Momma says he has to start learning. Well needless to say I barked and fumed the whole time they were gone, and then chased Dusty around the yard and nipped his ankles when they got back. That will show them!

Bark Out,
Cleo

Dr., Dr., Dr...

I have to go to the Dr. again. I went on Monday for my 'seizures' stayed all day, got xrays & bloodwork, nothing came of it. They couldn't find why I'm having these episodes. So I go back on Wednesday for a special test which will test for something called Addison's. If that comes back inconclusive, well then I need to go for a CAT scan. It's very frustrating, I can't play as much as I normally do because my Mom is afraid I will have another 'seizure' (we aren't even sure they are seizures). They happend when I play too hard, which I love to do. If I'm not chasing the ball or my brother and biting his ankles, well frankley I'm just not a happy camper. Well wish me luck fellow dogster's.
