I'm the Queen

I was born the same year as my human's niece - 1999. Being 7 is quite something seeing's that I almost died a month ago. Tick fever. Got it bad too. My human outdid herself trying to help me beat this thing.

I beat it. Against all odds. Two hospital stays. Drips. Daily shots. The works. And in this town, that's saying a lot. I mean, this is Kuching, Sarawak. Few are into canines the way my humans are. At one point, she made a deal with the Guy Upstairs too, bless her.

Anyway, I beat it. But sometimes, tick fever comes back and kicks you in the ass. In the form of paralysis.

I can't move much. Not since 2 days ago. But I'm still kicking. And by jove, the whole family is wracking their brains to do something for me.
