I took him home @ 10 months old to train him for a co-worker. I was supposed to take him for 2 weeks. After 3 weeks she told me she had gotten married and I could either keep him or take him to the pound. It was an easy choice!

The name Cheyenne was originally the name given them by the neighboring Sioux. It meant "red talkers" or "people of a different speech".
Cheyenne is derived from a word meaning unintelligible speakers, but a truer meaning might be strangers or foreigners.
