Arrival Story:
We bought Lance for our daughter Emma when she was ten years old. She is a Junior Handler, and loves to show Lance in AKC conformation and Junior Showmanship. Lance is both a UKC and AKC Champion. He took the "UKC Reserve Best in Show" at the GA State Nationals in Perry, GA in 2007 at only 26 months old (a rare award for a Yorkshire Terrier.) He finished his AKC Championship on January 3rd, 2009 with a 3 point Major at Clemson Kennel Club in South Carolina . He took Best of Opposite Sex two days in a row at Brooksville, Florida, taking the win from several professional handlers and top dogs. He is currently being "Specialized" by Emma, and has taken many Best of Breed wins since earning his Championship.
Emma has been awarded the top AKC Junior Handler for Yorkshire Terriers three consecutive years in a row, and is currently number 2 Top Junior in Toy Breed and number 17 Top Junior in ALL BREED dogs. She has qualified for the invitation to the upcoming Eukanuba National Dog Show and The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Last year, she placed in the top twenty out of 198 juniors at The Eukanuba 2008 Championships. She was honored at the 2008 awards ceremony at Best Junior. com in New York City in February, and helped assist the esteemed Ms. Kirsten McGregor with some of the country's top Yorkshire Terriers at the Westminster Dog Show. Recently she was given the honor of training and grooming four beautiful show pups for Ms. Betsy Booty Bozung of Silkiss'd Yorkshire Terriers, Melbourne Beach, Florida, and will soon be showing her new puppy "Silkiss'd Lets Rock" aka "Tucker" in upcoming AKC puppy matches soon.
