Arrival Story:
I wanted a small, short-haired dog that I could take to the office with me everyday. After some research, a rat terrier seemed the perfect choice...but since I had never actually seen or been around one, when I saw an ad in the local paper for puppies, I decided to go take a look. Now I had no intention of buying one of these puppies as I had not even begun to research breeders and I knew nothing about this one. The best laid plans and all that, lol, Lucy said "take me home" so I did. Thank goodness! She's a funny looking girl of questionable breeding but she's the love of my life, everything I was looking for and more.
