Fuzzy red squeaky ball, then blue plush sqeaky ball, then p-orbital plush squeaky toy; never, however, forget the Galileo bone
Favorite Food:
Anything Mom's eating, followed by anything the cat's eating, then fresh vegetables (especially lettuce), and freeze-dried liver treats
Favorite Walk:
Fort Funston in San Francisco - especially the "big sand hill" ; Pt. Isabel in Richmond (East Bay)
Arrival Story:
We spend months looking for the perfect dog before we found out about Janie. She was living in a wonderful home but extreme life changes necessitated that Janie and her sister find new homes. When we met her it was love at first sight, but we were scared because we didn't want to get our hopes up only to have her and us not work well together. Thankfully we didn't have to make the choice as to which sister to adopt, though! After we had Janie for a short while we found a home for her sister with a friend who lives nearby. Now that they are each in charge of their respective households they can't stand each other!
Bio:
The person who raised Janie before us did such a wonderful job and had to make such a difficult decision in giving her to us and I think about her almost every day. Janie is a truly amazing dog and she wouldn't be this great if she hadn't been raised so well and with so much love. I've lost touch with that person but if she ever reads this I want her to know how much we love Janie and what a spectacular and awesome gift you gave to us. You know how to contact us!
