He could care less. He likes to walk but when he gets tired he sits down and refuses to move. Mom has to pick him up and carry him home...

Best Tricks:
Being so darn adorable!

Arrival Story:
Dunkin came to me in August 2003, he was 2 years old. Dunkin had a skin condition and was malnourished. He kept to himself. His previous owners decided they didn't want him anymore and so he came to me through a friend. He never left my house. He's now got a beautiful silk coat and is lean and healthy. He is Mom's lover boy and handsome lil man.

Unlike my sisters, I'm not much of a barker. When I do bark, though, my whole body jumps. Mom says it's funny to watch. I'm not much for strangers initially so I go and hide behind Mom but I'm social and loving once I warm up to you.

Forums Motto:
Mr. Littles

I have 2 sisters Lacy and Ruby. Both are older than me. Lacy likes to pick on me from time to time but I let her know what's up. Ruby and I get along great, we have no beef with one another. Unlike my yappy sisters, I don't tend to bark unless I'm outside and I see a stranger. If they're nice to me I stop barking. That's pretty much me.

On January 15, 2016, at the age of 14.4 years, I went home to be with my sister, Ruby and Lord and Creator. I left this world with my Mommy by my side whispering in my ear how much she loved me while she petted my head. Moments before I went to sleep she told me of all the wonderful things I was about to see. You see, I have been completely blind for over a year. She told me I would close my eyes and when I opened them I would see Ruby and Jesus. Mommy had a talk with Jesus and she asked him to be there to welcome me. Mommy told me all about what she knew about heaven while I rested my head in her hands. I was slowly fading out of this world, my little body was failing me, but I was comforted by my Mommy's voice, gentle hands and loving kisses on my nose. She told me that we would only be separated for a short while. It would be longer for her than me...something about time in heaven is different than on earth. She told me to run ahead with Ruby but know Mommy is not far behind. She said it might be as quick as a blink of an eye for me! In my final moments I laid in Mommy's hand and listened to everything she said. I was resting and peaceful. Mommy kept talking to me until I fell asleep. The last thing I heard was I love you.

Many people may say that I was blessed to have him in my life for so long and they are right. Many would say he lived a long life and they too are correct. Only those who have had the joy and privilege of having a blessed baby in their life for this long will understand the deep sorrow that comes with losing them. It was his time, he was old, I was fortunate, yes to all, but he was with me for a long time and his passing took a part of my heart I will never get back. He and Ruby will remain with me until I see them again.

Mommy loves you Dunkin Lee. I will see you again and this time there will be no more goodbyes!

Mom is still dressing me up

I'm back begging for you to talk to my mom about dressing me up. I have played along for years and instead of it getting old she just keeps buying us more clothes. God created us with hair all over our bodies to keep us warm, cool, and "clothed." If God would have wanted us to wear clothes he would have made us naked! She doesn't seem to understand this. Our wardrobe now includes a visor and sunglasses. Yes, she makes us wear this ridiculous hat with matching sunglasses. She says this is to keep the sun out of our face and eyes. She says we are sporty and in style since they are Florida Gator visors. I think they make us look ridiculous. When is she going to stop torturing us? Oh and while you're at it tell her I don't like my fingernails being cut. I have yelled at her for years about this, even tried to remove her hand from my paw with my teeth, but she still cuts my nails!

Dunkin in the fall of 2007

I'm not one for writing but it's been a long time since my first entry. I am doing well. I had to have surgery to remove some kind of mysterious lumps in my hip. The vet said she didn't know what they were but that they didn't look cancerous. You should have seen the look on Mom's face when they showed them to her! LOL. I did well with my recovery, didn't tear my stitches or staples. Mommy was worried it would leave a nasty scar but so far there are only a couple of places where the hair didn't grow back. Mom was more upset than I was, she said she didn't want anything messing up my silky coat. Again...women. I am doing fine, just turned 6, and still have all my teeth :) People still mistake me for a girl, it doesn't help that Mom dresses me up in all these clothes. I don't understand the fascination of dressing us up in all these little outfits. They are totally pointless and I know others laugh at us. Someone please speak to my mom about this. Thanks!
