SO, Mommy said her was bored and was gonna cut my head hair slick like it used to be...so she did and was laughing at me....something about it makes my ears look huge and i looks like a bat :(

Allee's mommy here: So, yeah she does look kinda funny bc I am not used to it yet.
She's had that poofy head hair for awhile...I will let it grow back though. She just looks more like herself with it.

Hee Hee, yeah mommy said she'd like to dye me pink! But she doubts black would take the color. Mommy doesn't take me to the groomer anymore. She cuts my hair and I am a real good girl for her. She knows she doesn't do it perfect, but saves her money, whatever that is.

U are so cute too. Love your name.

You look so cute!

Mom was at the Westminster Dog Show and she was sure cheering for Sadie....she loved seeing a terrier win, even though Sadie isn't a cairn!

Your mom does a great job for not being a pro! My mom used to teach at a grooming school too, so if your mom ever needs any tips tell her to feel free to ask my mom. Thank for the compliments, love your name too!!
Hugs,
Jelly Bean

Allee's mommy here:
Yeah I just cut it diff ways each time... I know it isn't really supposed to be shaved so short on the back...bc I always watch dog shows and stuff and see how the scottie is 'supposed to look' but oh well. I usually use the longest attachment but last time I cut the back short and left her poofy head hair just bc it looked cute! But, then the other day I had to go and cut that off. :(
Allee's coat will apparently never grow to the ground. She's fullblooded scottie but came from a pet store, which I now know prob means a puppy mill so I know they don't breed very good there. And, the groomer I used to take her to the first few times said spaying can change the coat?

Jelly's mommy here. I think when it comes to our pet's we can cut them however we want to. I love show dog's and show coats but the beauty of non show dogs is that we have creative freedom!!! The only thing when it comes to cutting their backs too short is it isn't the best for their skin in the long run. Not sure what kind of clipper you use but its best to go with a guard over a 30 blade, its still short but better on their skin, out side of that do what ever you think is cute, she is adorable!!
