Arrival Story:
He was posted on the internet n the working dachshunds group. I contacted the owner and had him flown from Florida out to here on February 20th. The people that had him, even though they must have loved him, did not know much about dogs. He was either in a crate or on a leash. When he arrived he was sick with coccida. The vet thinks he had it for a while. He was on a month's treatment for it. He has really came around after being put in a decent diet and a additional skin conditioner supplement(Only because he came from a very humid climate, and we have a VERY dry climate here). I show him in AKC/CKC/CanKC field events as well as Earthdog. He also loves people and I plan to get him ME and FC certified. This dog was a TOTAL city slicker. He learned what its like to have the freedom of being a country dog. NOTE: On August 18, 2008 Jäger was severely attacked by a stray dog. Despite all efforts to save him, he died. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES! Had the owner been more careful with his dog, Jäger would still be alive!

Bio:
He is of the famous Moosbach-Zuzelek line of wire. His grandsire is Czar Moosbach-Zuzelek. All his relatives are Field Champions.
