Help us find Bella Paige

Our February STAFU DOTM, Bella Paige is missing. We are all so heartbroken over this. She is a wonderful and supportive pup and her mother Annette is sick with worry, as are we all. This is what she said:

Hi everyone this is Bella's Mom.
This evening when I went out to dinner with my best friend I recieved a phone call that Bella was missing from my mothers house in Orange. I Rushed back to her house while she went around the neighborhood calling her name. I searched and searched all over the neighborhood for about 2 hrs and didnt find her.
She does have her tags on with my phone # to call.
I am soo destryed right now I dont know what to do.

I ask you all to please PLEASE pray for Bella's Return home and her safety. I am terrified and I dont know what to do, I am about to lose my mind.
She is my world and my pride and joy and I cant live with out her.
If you all can please pray for her to return home I would be soo thankful.

STAFU Prayers work.. and I really REALLY need a huge one guys!
Please help me in prayin for my sweet Baby to return home.
I do pray that someone out there with a good heart will find her and bring her back to me.

This is Bella Paige on my main pic DOGSTER ID #568339. She had just made the Orange County Register's Top 100 in the "My Dog's Face" competition.

Bella is 9 months old and was wearing a pink collar with a gold heart tag.
She is not microchiped... she was scheduled to be this month.

She is gold and white with a white tail and four white paws.
She is aprox 10 lbs and has a black rubberband in her top knot.

Well this week BITES!

big sigh.......Mom was brushing me the other night and noticed these strange dark spots on my back. She scratched at them a little to see if they hurt me and nope I didn't feel anything, well except her scratching. She says they flaked away but she was a little concerned about them since they just showed up. Sooooo I go to the vet the other night after mom gets off of work and he takes one look and says yep she's got a Staph infection on her skin. ME? Ewwww! How did I get something like that on me, I don't really go anywhere but out to the yard.

The dogtor says we pups have staph on our skin all the time and it's not the kind that humans can get and get so sick from and it's not contagious either. Sometimes we pups just develop an allergy to the staph on our skin and need a little help. So now I get antibiotics 2x a day, have I told you how much I hate pills?!? Really, really hate them. Now it's 2x a day for 3 weeks. At least I get some good treats after I take the dreaded pill.

BUT, and big BUT here!!!!! For the next 3 weeks I have to have like 2 baths a week. OMD!!!!! I know I said I don't like pills but I REALLY hate baths. They are pure torture to me and now I've gotta get 2 a week! Merry Christmas and Bah Humbugh to me!

human food I'm allowed to have sometimes.

Here are My 7 Facts:

1. Like Gracie, I hate thunderstorms. But I'm bad inside and outside. I can hear the thunder miles away and begin to shake like a leaf!

2. Mom has to special order my favorite toy, she's looked in every pet store she's ever come across to find the special prickly squeaky ball. No other will work for me, I'm very particular.

3. When mommy lets me out in the super hot summer months I hate it and will make a slight hissing noise and pull my head back like it almost hurts.

4. My favorite place to hang out in the house is under the couch in the living room. Although I use to fit really nice I'm a little tight but I won't let anything get in my way of squeezing myself under that couch.

5. I'm getting pretty use to Tater being around and I'll even nuzzle up to him for a sec or 2. He's still not sure if I'll be grouchy or not so he tends to shy away.

6. I am a total homebody, if I go to the neighbors to play after 5 min's I'm ready to go home. There's no place like home!!

7. I only eat when my mommy is home, so that's early morning and after 5.

What a week....

Wow, this has been quite a week. I was asked to be the welcoming chairman for our Shih Tzu and Friends United group (yea), got my teeth cleaned, and mommy went out without me.

I was so surprised and happy to be asked to be the chariman of the welcoming commitee for our group. We have so much fun there, there's lots of cute Tzus and other breeds. I just love all my buds.
My teeth got cleaned this week too, I'm not real sure about that experience. Now mommy looks at my teeth all the time and keeps saying I'm even cuter. Well I guess it was an ok experience since she's giving me all the extra attention!!!
Now for the biggest surprise this week. My mommy went out Friday night without me. What was she thinking?? She told me it was some sort of "blind date", what can he not see?? Anywho, she came home Friday after work for just a few minutes then left and came home late. I don't know who this blind person is but I sure don't like sharing my mommy with anyone!! Luckily it's going to be a rainy weekend and that means I get her all to myself. Yipee for me!!

What's a vacation day?

My mommy came home early on Thursday and was at home all day on Friday, something about having to use some leftover vacation days. Isn't every day a vacation day? At least it is to me. Hey, I didn't care why she was home all I knew was she was home and it was time to play!!!

We've got a new pal living in the back yard and you'll never guess who it is. It's the Easter Bunny!!! He seems to have taken up shop in the shrubs. I guess he needed a quiet spot to make all of the yummy easter goodies. Sure hope he leaves some samples for us.

I got to be a judge in the Shih tzu and friends united groups St. Patty's Day parade. Wow, was that hard. Mommy and I looked back and forth, and back and forth at all of the pictures. It was such a great group we hated to pick just 3. Congrats to all of our winners and everyone that participated you were all so cute.

Great Fun

This has been so much fun. Well up until today....

My mommy decided she needed to try and make her pictures of me just as cute as some of these others. She's been on that computer forever trying to find just the right software. Well, the right software's been here all the time, super soft me and my toys.

Oh look, I think she's done. Time for play!! Yea!!
