Arrival Story:
We had been out at the pet store buying crickets for my son's gecko and other stuff for our 3 other dogs. On the way home, we drove into a plaza near our home to pick up Subway sandwiches for dinner. My daughter asked if they *her and her brother) could go into the pet store to look at the puppies while I got the sandwiches, I said no because then I hear whinning about "The cutest puppy, can we get it" for 3 weeks afterward. I had to slow the car down near the front of the pet store and my husband and kids jumped out. I went to the sandwich shop and when I came out they were no where in sight. I walked into the pet store and my daughter was holding this adorable Mini Schauzer. When I commented on how cute she was, my daughter said "We bought her". My husband had been noticing how much I missed my other schauzer "Spike" who passed away 2 years ago, so he bought this one for me.

Ever since Bridget showed up 2 weeks ago, Roxanna has been a little ticked off at me. I am trying to get her to spend more time with me when I am home, but she is being real standoffish.
She has finally started putting Bridget in her place. For a while, she didn't go after her, and let her bug her, but I am glad she is now standing up for herself.
I am trying to make a conscious effort to spend as much time as possible with her. I love my little Roxanna. She will always be my baby.

Tonight, we noticed that Roxi was dragging alot of loose dirt into the kitchen when she came in from outside. When my husband went out to smoke, he found her sitting in a flower box I keep on the deck and dirt everywhere surrounding it.
We took some pictures of her enjoying a nice spring evening in the dirt and nibbling on tulip bulbs!!!
