Arrival Story:
I found Spirit at Free Spirit Siberian Husky Rescue in IL. Which at the time was approx. 3 hrs from where we lived. Something about her picture just triggered something. I just knew that we had to have her in our family. That she belonged with us. So I filled out an adoption application and we were approved. They had an open house one Saturday so potential adopters could get to meet some of the dogs. Niko and I drove the 3 hrs to attend it and ended up waiting 5 hrs to meet Spirit since she was at a demenstration. The wait was worth it when she finally arrived. Niko and Spirit hit it off immediately. The brought Spirit to our home a few weeks later. Febuary 18th is her official gotcha day since we don't know her official birthday.

Bio:
Spirit is the resident bossy butt. She loves nothing better than to tell Niko what to do or what not to do. She also likes tattling on him. She is to much of a Lady in the house to play rough house games. Get her outside and she is has turned into a tomboy. When we go to the dog park she bosses all the other dogs around and makes sure she gets lots of praise of pets from all the other dog owners present.
