I started asking my husband about 6 months before our daughters 18th birthday, if we could get her a little chihuahua. 5 months of bringing up the subject very non chalantly did absolutely no good. Finally, I got to the point that I knew we had to get her something really special, since it was the 18th birthday, I started being more aggressive in my bringing up the subject. He finally, very reluctantly, agreed. So the search was on. I drove all over SouthEast Texas, I called tons of people, I must have looked at 150 chihuahuas. After almost giving up finding just the " perfect" one, there was one last ad I had not answered. So I called it, thinking it was another dead end. When I got to the home, there were 4 precious pups ready to go. I spotted Ellie immediately!! I made arrangements to come back the next day to get her. My poor neighbor lady went with me.. GOD LOVE HER and what my animals have all done to her.. LOL.. On the way home, Ellie christened her good.. POOPED all the way down the front of her shirt!! And we still had 1/2 an hour drive ahead of us!!
Bio:
Ellie Mae is technically our daughters dog.. Our daughter has moved off to college, ready for an apartment of her own now. Her daddy? " You can go anywhere you want to, Ellie Mae stays right here!!" She is (as my husband so eloquently puts it) "Peepaws precious little angel from Heaven"

My granny and Peepaw are taking me on a trip to see my Aunt Lisa, my Uncle Rob and my cousins, Christopher, William, Bryant , King and Forrest!! I"m so excited I get to ride on an airplane for the very first time. Granny says we have to leave to go to Houston early, that I dont think I will like, I do not like to wake up too early ya know. My cousin Christopher has 2 pet rats, Aunt Lisa says I can play with them ( Pfft, I'm not real sure about all that)
I guess I need to go buy me a new suitcase, I just dont have any idea what to pack to wear, I probably should call Miss Junie, she is my seamstress, I bet she could whip me up something spectacular for my trip!! Granny says I cant take too much because we have "limited" space, Well I dont care what she says.. I am taking my favorite Blankie!! Some of my brothers and sisters get to go to Camp K9 while we are away, Aunt Vern is going to stay at my house and babysit the rest the of them. NAH NAH NAH NAH, I Get to go on a plane trip!! I do hope I can find a Gucci store to bring them back a gift.
